There are good reasons why the MGB was one of the most successful sports cars of all time. Its combination of good looks, handling and practicality has made it enduringly popular.
Our car underwent a complete a nut and bolt rebuild in 2006, with every part either replaced or reconditioned before being put back onto a brand new body shell. Its tartan red colour is complemented by new chrome work, including traditional “knock on” wire wheels and a black mohair hood. It has a new leather interior and is equipped with a modern CD/radio with ipod connection and inertia reel seatbelts.
This car is a delight to look at and drive. It retains the period charm of the earlier MGB but with the improved all-synchromesh gearbox fitted as standard on later cars. Electronic overdrive on third and fourth gears gives you six forward gears to choose from.
